The importance of localized SEO services is something that presents a real opportunity for up and coming companies that are well versed in the intricacies of search engines, but don’t have a lot of the heavy lifting resources that a well established SEO firm may have at it’s disposal. This came to light for me the other day when I was talking with my brother who has recently started his own bar / cafe in big city down in South America. It’s been a dream of his for a long time, but something he’s finally in a position in his life to make happen.

We got talking the other day, as he’s come back home for a bit of a visit. I started explaining to him how SEO works, and his eyes just kept getting bigger and bigger. I’ve never really done much SEO work for someone else, as the little I’ve done has always been for my own business concerns. I always knew that localized search was important, but slowly began to see first hand how it can be less competitive than some of the niches I go after, and how it can have a very positive effect on a local business.   SEO Toronto is good example of a term that would be much easier to be competitive for than just the term SEO.  I think, that localized search is still an area where so many big opportunities exist.  Especially for the larger urban centers.
